David Keith Moore Jr., was a good man. In his marriage for thirty-two years and raising his three children, he made efforts to break what he saw as generational wounds and be a man of integrity. In his humanity he made mistakes, as we all do, and he found his lessons. He truly did his best and walked a path of Christ. He always had a rebellious nature and because of that he found an authentic relationship to Christ. He never wanted to follow the dogma or the crowd. It was the deep resonate teachings of Christ that point to kindness and inclusion beyond what he experienced that he strived to be and experience towards himself. He was a lover of life and loved to party and laugh and do his very white man overbite dance. You could count on him to break a rule or break a joke. We loved him, in all the complicated ways we experience family and love, he was our spirited father and because of him we are here. We wish things could have been different with his Alzheimer's in these last years, and we are deeply grateful he left this world in peace and was able to release fully in the deepest point of surrender. We love you Dad, David. We as your family carry with us your integrity, your laughter, your leisure, and living our full lives.
